First, let’s establish which version of Lightroom you are currently using. There are so many versions of Lightroom (with almost the same name!) as well as different preset file types.<\/p>\n
I know it can be confusing, but that is why we are here to help you!<\/p>\n
To start, make sure you know which version of Lightroom you are using.\u00a0 If you don’t know,<\/strong>\u00a0click “Help<\/strong>” at the top of your Lightroom dashboard and then click “System Info<\/strong>” to find out!<\/p>\n Then come back and select your version below to instantly take you to the install\u00a0details you need:<\/strong> Step 1.<\/span>\u00a0 Download your Lightroom Presets from Pretty Presets.\u00a0 The presets will come in a .zip file.<\/p>\n Step\u00a02.<\/span>\u00a0 Navigate to the Develop Module in Lightroom and click on\u00a0File>Import Develop Profiles and Presets<\/strong>\u00a0(see image below).<\/p>\n Step\u00a03.<\/span>\u00a0 Next, you will need to navigate to the\u00a0ZIPPED preset file<\/strong>\u00a0you downloaded.\u00a0 If you have\u00a0already unzipped the download, navigate to the folder that holds the\u00a0XMP files.<\/p>\n Step\u00a04.<\/span>\u00a0 You’re DONE!\u00a0 To apply them, open the Presets Panel on the left-side of your screen and use the small triangle to open the folder.\u00a0 Click a preset in the folder to apply it.<\/p>\n
