And we had to wait even longer to give you the ability to use Lightroom presets in the free version of Lightroom Mobile!<\/p>\n<p>With our new\u00a0Millennium Lightroom Preset Collections, even MOBILE USERS can now use presets to create gorgeous professional edits using their mobile devices.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t matter if your photos were taken with\u00a0a phone or DSLR; your edited images will now look beautiful either way.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Before_After_LightAiry2_1024x1024_742f5100-02eb-4185-b987-14e5ed3c3dea_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559933914\" alt=\"Lightroom Mobile Presets\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>STEP 1: UNZIP THE FILES<\/h4>\n<p>The first thing you will need to do is\u00a0<a title=\"unzipping lightroom presets files on mobile\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/how-to-unzip-lightroom-preset-files-on-ios-and-android\">unzip the folder<\/a>\u00a0of presets that you downloaded.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>The easiest way to do this is on a computer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On a PC, just right-click on the zipped folder and choose &#8220;Extract All&#8221; from the options menu.<\/li>\n<li>On a Mac, just double-click the file, and Mac&#8217;s unzipping utility does the rest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Extract_All_screenshot.png?v=1647044064\" alt=\"How to Upload Presets to Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you need to do this step on\u00a0an iPhone or\u00a0<a title=\"Install Presets Lightroom Ipad\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/installing-presets-and-using-lightroom-on-ipad\">iPad<\/a>, just tap on the zipped file, and it will unzip.<\/li>\n<li>If you need to do this on an Android phone, you will need to download the\u00a0<a title=\"Files by Google for unzipping on android phone\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.nbu.files&amp;hl=en_US\">Files by Google<\/a>\u00a0or WinZip app (<a title=\"how to unzip files on your android phone\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.comcsoft.izip&amp;hl=en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Android app<\/a>) to your phone.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"How to unzip lightroom preset files on iOS or Android devices\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/how-to-unzip-lightroom-preset-files-on-ios-and-android\">Visit this page for more help unzipping your Pretty Presets download on your phone<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>STEP 2: SAVE THE PRESETS<\/h4>\n<p>If you unzip the presets on your computer, you will need to save\u00a0the preset files to your favorite\u00a0<a title=\"Cloud Photo Storage\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/7705809-free-resources-for-backing-up-your-pictures-and-presets-to-the-cloud\">cloud storage option<\/a>\u00a0so that\u00a0you can access them on your mobile phone.\u00a0 You will also need to be able to allow access to those files on your phone through that same cloud storage app.<\/p>\n<p>If you unzip the preset download on your phone, you can skip this step.\u00a0 Ensure\u00a0you know where the unzipped files are located on your phone or device.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE DNG FILES are the only files you will need for the Lightroom Mobile app.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Ignore the xmp and\u00a0<a title=\"How to Install LRtemplate files in Lightroom\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/7403760-video-how-to-install-lightroom-presets-and-lightroom-brushes\">lrtemplate files<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Install_the_DNG_files_in_Lightroom_Mobile.png?v=1647376069\" alt=\"Add Presets to Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>STEP 3: INSTALL AND OPEN\u00a0THE LIGHTROOM MOBILE CC APP<\/h4>\n<p>This step is straightforward.\u00a0 Just open your free Lightroom app.\u00a0 Once\u00a0it&#8217;s open, you\u00a0can add the DNG\/Preset files (next step).<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t already have this app downloaded and installed, you can find the app here:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Screen_Shot_2022-03-14_at_2.41.24_PM_600x600.png?v=1647290526\" alt=\"How to Download Presets to Lightroom App\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Lightroom Mobile in the Apple App Store\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/adobe-lightroom-photo-editor\/id878783582\"><strong>DOWNLOAD\u00a0Lightroom Mobile in the Apple App Store.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Lightroom_Mobile_Google_Play_600x600.png?v=1647290378\" alt=\"How to Add Presets to Lightroom App\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"Lightroom Mobile in the Google Play Store\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.adobe.lrmobile&amp;hl=en_US&amp;gl=US\"><strong>DOWNLOAD\u00a0Lightroom Mobile in the Google Play Store.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>STEP 4: ADD THE DNG\/PRESET FILES TO LIGHTROOM MOBILE<\/h4>\n<p>To add a preset to Lightroom Mobile, select a collection in Lightroom where you will import the preset files. Next,\u00a0click on the (&#8230;) settings\u00a0icon in the app&#8217;s top-right corner.<\/p>\n<p>In the options that open at the bottom of the screen, choose the\u00a0<b>Add Photos\u00a0<\/b>option.<\/p>\n<p>When the options menu opens, choose the location you will be pulling\u00a0the\u00a0<strong>DNG\/Preset<\/strong>\u00a0files from\u2014this is the location where you saved the DNG files after they were unzipped.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you have saved them to your phone,\u00a0<strong>choose &#8220;From Camera Roll.&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If you have saved them to a cloud storage option,\u00a0<strong>choose &#8220;From Files.&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Light_and_Airy_Screenshots_1024x1024_4cde867c-f364-4fb5-8115-b8e4a53e9a5e_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559934018\" alt=\"Import Lightroom Presets to Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Select the DNG\/Preset files you would like to import.\u00a0 This step may be a little different depending on your mobile phone. However, most phones offer a way to select multiple files\/images.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/IMG_0124_copy_1024x1024_3b676a7c-9147-4227-90e8-9636bfdc135e_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559933951\" alt=\"How to Add a Preset to Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em><b>NOTE:<\/b>\u00a0<strong>Preset files are DNG files.<\/strong>\u00a0 When you initially open the image, you may get an error that says, \u201cCannot Load File.\u201d\u00a0 This is normal.\u00a0 Press the\u00a0checkmark in the corner anyway.<\/em><\/p>\n<h4>STEP 5: CREATE LIGHTROOM PRESETS FROM THE DNG FILES<\/h4>\n<p>Click on one of the newly imported files, then click on the three dots inside a circle in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.\u00a0 From there, choose \u201cCreate Preset\u201d from the menu that appears.<\/p>\n<p>Give your preset a name.\u00a0 We recommend\u00a0typing the same name written on the front of the preset image (to keep things simple).<\/p>\n<p>It would be best if you also put\u00a0the preset in a Preset Group.\u00a0 By default, it will be in the User Presets group.\u00a0 Creating a new group with your new collection\u2019s name will keep the presets from each collection together.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You will need to follow the instructions in this step for EACH\u00a0DNG\/preset file.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Lightroom_Mobile_Install_Presets_1024x1024_37c2a813-c282-4d93-9841-8ae39380f0cf_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559934080\" alt=\"How to Import Presets Into Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>USING MOBILE PRESETS<\/h3>\n<p>Now for the FUN part!<\/p>\n<p>Select an image in the\u00a0<a title=\"How to Use Lightroom Mobile App\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/editing-photos-in-lightroom-mobile\">Lightroom Mobile App<\/a>\u00a0that you would like to edit.\u00a0 Swipe left on the bottom options until you see &#8220;Presets&#8221; and tap on that option.\u00a0 It will open with your most recently used preset collection.\u00a0 By tapping on the collection name, you can choose the new collection you just installed.<\/p>\n<p>Click through the presets until you find the one you like.\u00a0 When you are finished adding your preset, click the\u00a0checkmark in the lower right corner.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/How_to_Use_Presets_in_Lightroom_Mobile_1024x1024_46c7b9af-1599-46e5-bff7-3266c38b6616_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559934112\" alt=\"How to Get Presets on Lightroom App\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong>\u00a0Our presets will not change\u00a0your exposure or\u00a0<a title=\"What is White Balance?\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lightroompresets.com\/blogs\/pretty-presets-blog\/8117675-what-is-white-balance\">white balance<\/a>\u00a0since those settings can vary with each image.\u00a0 We encourage you to make those adjustments as necessary before or after choosing your preset.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0163\/6622\/files\/Before_After_LightAiry_1024x1024_ec581a8f-e9e4-4f12-8951-0209cbc58495_1024x1024.jpg?v=1559933906\" alt=\"How to Use Presets on Lightroom Mobile\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HOW TO INSTALL PRESETS IN THE FREE LIGHTROOM MOBILE APP We waited what seemed like forever to get the ability to use\u00a0presets in Lightroom Mobile.
