Here\u2019s a behind the scenes look at the creation of our Valentine\u2019s Day Dinner Menu.<\/span><\/p>\n While the majority of the world was prepping for the winter holidays, I was deep in the planning stages of developing a photoshoot showcasing the Valentine\u2019s Day offerings! Below, we\u2019ll share a few of the key factors in mine creative process (we always start with the same one thing first), and show some pics from the other side of the lens of our Valentine\u2019s Day Dinner photoshoot. Let\u2019s dive into an insider perspective from Yokota\u2019s Dinning Chico\u2019s Chop House!<\/p>\n At Chico\u2019s Chop House, it\u2019s our passion to create romantic dinner offering with premium and seasonal blooms, that people can\u2019t wait to share with their loved ones. It\u2019s no secret that the goddess of Valentine\u2019s Day is the beloved rose herself! We we created an all-rose bundle arrangement, was used at the table\u2019s centerpiece also making a bed for the bottle of wine to rest on.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we design our exclusive holiday menu, we always start with a color palette,\u201d said Meg. \u201cOur Valentine\u2019s Day color palette is certainly guided by the traditional hues you know and love. We opted to use a black table cloth to better contrast with the plates and bring out the reds of our Valentines Day flowers.\u201d<\/p>\n Next, we look at data from previous years to create items based on our best-sellers (an upgraded Classic Wrap like our \u201cClassic Love Story\u201d) and review our notes to create something new based on customer requests (like this year\u2019s \u201cLittle Love\u201d).<\/p>\n \u201cOverall, I strive to shoot Valentine\u2019s Day Dinner photos that are unique, artistic, and that help my mission of sharing my vision through the power of photos!\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n For me, shooting this special menu is a lot of fun, and at the same time, a huge undertaking. \u201cFrom ordering a specific color palette and flower ingredient list to booking a location and photographer to designing and building all the items, it takes several people several weeks to prep!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen shooting flowers, there\u2019s lots to consider!\u201d\u00a0said\u00a0Meg.\u00a0\u201cScale is really important \u2013 is the size of the arrangement being properly represented? Angles are another factor to look at \u2013 can you see the blooms well enough?\u201d<\/p>\n We also put together a mood board to capture the tone of what we hope the shoot will be, and refer back to it throughout the day to ensure we\u2019re in line with our goals.<\/p>\n This year, we decided to add to our campaign imagery by bringing in six different real couples and capturing their love! It was such a fun and unique experience and we\u2019re honored to share a bit about them and their stories with you in our next blog post!<\/p>\n \u201cAside from wanting to design offerings inline with the holiday\u2019s themes, we also do an increased level of volume during this peak time. Developing a curated menu allows us to meet that demand while delivering our signature level of design and artistry. The designs still allow for creative flexibility, but offer a framework for our floral artists to follow,\u201d said Meg.<\/p>\n So much inspiration flows through our veins each year and we\u2019re so excited we could share with you!
